Promise in Pieces

This is my first attempt at concept art.

I'm not a huge fan of love, but I know that "love" is a promise that people exchange. It is a promise that is understood, and "I will cherish you forever" rests on silent lips, but sometimes those smiling silent lips can whisper sweet lies in the images of love, hate anthems in the shadow of what looks like love.

This picture represents a shattered promise, the key to someone's heart is lying discarded, desolate amongst a pool of shattered glass, the broken promise..left in the dirt.
